Cabin: Aquatheater Suite with Balcony - Deck 9

This cruise was a family trip with my two grown sons in memory of my husband and their father who passed away last year. We booked the Star Class Aqua Theatre Suite which came with a large number of worthy perks for specialty dining and priority access. For our party of four, we had two private bedrooms and two bathrooms and a wrap-around sun deck which was well worth the premium price of the cabin. The only suite drawback is the constant music or video noise from the boardwalk below until almost midnight. As such, peaceful deck lounging is only possible early morning and late evening. Our personal Room Genie, Philip exemplified customer service and was complimented efficiently with our room steward Jefferson. However, passengers who wish to start or maintain their voyage with spiritual thanks will be disappointed as there is no chapel on board. Also, those passengers who like to dance will discover somewhat outdated music without apparent reference to the latest "Billboard Hot 100 List" by the club DJs. On excursions, be aware that on Puerto Rico, there may not be time to shop or tour Old San Juan as the ship wants guests on board at 1:30pm. Lines were long getting back...approximately 45 minutes to board. Read between the lines on brochure descriptions. In Lebadee, what was described as a "luxury yacht" was actually a sea weary sail boat with little shade for guests. The private beach area for suite guests was outstanding with plenty of lounge chairs in the shade or sun. The lunch buffet was also outstanding provided you enjoyed it before the 2pm closing time. Overall the RC cruise brand is consistent with great value on destinations, on board activities and cordial customer service from the entire crew. This was my sixth cruise with RC and my family will be back in the near future.

Cabin Review

Aquatheater Suite with Balcony - Deck 9

Cabin A2

Everything about the cabin was excellent. My only negative observation was the inability to relax on the deck and enjoy the ocean view in peace. There was constant noise and loud music from the Aqua Theatre enterainment screen until late at night after eleven PM.
