The main reason we decided to try Celebrity and the Equinox was the amazing deal we got for this 10 night cruise. We booked when celebrity first announced that the ship would not be going to the Mediterranean, but staying in the Caribbean. We knew the demographic (older) that Celebrity usually pulls and that it would be more so since it was a longer cruise.

Long story short we loved it! There were no rock climbing walls, water slides, screaming kids. Also there were not long lines at the bars and it was always easy to find a deck chair, though we went to deck 14 just above the pool by the Mast bar. We enjoyed how peaceful and relaxing it was. After dinner we would go up to the sunset bar and enjoy some drinks as the sun set and watch the wake.

The food in the main dining room was what we expect, banquet food. It is basically the same on any cruise line. We have sailed Carnival, NCL, and Royal Caribbean. But the specialty dining was great, especially Tuscan.

We did not find the life boats to really cause any issue as regards to the view.
