We choose this cruise as we have neever been on a maiden voyage before. The embarkation and disembarkation were both a wonderful celebratory event, that seemed to have no queues as we all spent time hugging characters and taking pictures along the way. The Ship is huge, beautiful, clean but keeping with a familiar RC layout so easy to find things. The ship is fitted with tablets at lifts etc. where guests can swipe their card, check their own personal itinery and signup for events, this is also available on the TV in the bedroom. This was great for us, as we did not queue at all for any of the activities, just turned up at our allotted time. We really enjoyed the wind-tunnel/sky diving, rock climbing, dodgems and 'North Star' observation pod. As like all RC ships the sauna, swimming pools and gym were great. We weren't a big fan of 'Spectre' show. The entertainers were great and effects wonderful, just didn't like the show too much. But everyone else seemed to. We were upgraded heavily for this trip, so our huge stateroom with balcony was wonderful, mdern, clean etc. Loved the T.V. system. Many ships now allow you to see your bill etc. on the T.V. but Ovation lets you run your entire trip from the T.V. Our stateroom attendant was brillent too. We enjoyed all our meals and the service though we heard that others didn't have such a great experience. It took until the second night for room service to begin. All the restaurants were great, but I do prefer the stately dining of ships like 'Independence of the Seas'. We particularly loved the adult only swimming pool with small water falls and exotic decor. We LOVED this cruise and the ship. A mixture of incredible luck, a great ship and staff.
