We chose this cruise because it was Oceania, and because of its 2 day stay in Cuba. Overall we were not disappointed. It was our fourth Oceania trip, the first on Marina - though we have cruised on Riviera before, her sister ship. The itinerary highlight was Cuba, which we loved. The rest comprised Cozumel, Harvest Caye, Roatan and Nassau. Harvest Caye is a disappointment, a small private island owned by NCL, Oceania's parent company, which could be anywhere. Cozumel and Roatan are pleasant stops, and Nassau a typical Caribbean port with a small town feel, and full of the usual tourist shops.

Boarding in Miami was a little slow, with a 20 minute queue to get into the terminal, after which things went fairly smoothly.

Marina is a lovely ship, and the 1200 passenger size is perfect. We were so glad not to have been on the other giant ships we saw disgorging their passengers at some ports of call. The cruise was full, but there was never a queue at any of the restaurants or the entertainment venues. Service was of a very high order, and all of the staff maintained the extremely high standard one expects of Oceania.

Deluxe Ocean View

Cabin C

Cabin is great, bathroom has bath and shower. Toiletries of a very high quality. European and US plug sockets.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

I would avoid any cruise that goes here in future. A man-made island owned by the cruise line. Not much point in getting off the ship

Roatan

Worth getting a taxi to take you on a tour of the island
