we chose this ship and cruise because family and friends were going. We have never cruised before, so we were first time cruisers and were real excited to finally go on one. This boat first of all was in need of a refresh - torn upholstery everywhere, dated furnishings in the staterooms, not clean, food preparation did not include HEAT (everything served lukewarm and not hot or fresh). Could not find a decent cup of coffee anywhere, always running out of fresh fruit and vegetables, very limited activites on board, extended periods of time on the water - very little time at ports (limited to 10am - 4pm at port), port stops cancelled at last minute with no options for on board activities, waaay to many really drunk people, a lot of elderly people falling down and accidents (was very sad to see and watch). We will never never never go on a cruise with this line again - despite the complaints and efforts to point out blatant safety violations around the ship. This was a floating crappy boat and believe me you do not want to get stuck on it for ANY length of time.

very shabby and dirty furnishings - felt like we were at a state college down room!
