Beautiful hull art, ship in port in Nassau

First time on the Escape and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Embarkation was a breeze. I showed up at my assigned time, waited 20 minutes in the lounge until embarkation started, and then was on the ship within minutes.

The layout of the ship is a bit different from what I was used to on RCCL and Carnival, but within a day I got used to it and it's well layed out.

Cabin Review

Studio Stateroom

Cabin T1

Solo studio was perfect! It's not too small and contains all the amenities one would need to travel alone. The attached lounge (and it's social coordinator) are a real bonus. I used the lounge a lot to save and process my day's photos on my laptop.

I know it may sound silly, but one of the small details I really liked was having a bright overhead light inside the shower.

Port Reviews

Miami

Port Miami is constantly getting better. Embarkation and debarkation on my last 2 cruises there were quick and efficient.

Nassau

I've been to Nassau too many times and it's not my favorite destination so I just went for a walk. I wish cruise lines would diversify that area a bit and explore other islands in the Bahamas.
