We chose this cruise because it worked out well for Spring Break. We could not be happier with the experience we had. The staff on board was one of the greatest highlights of our travel experience. We have never been around so many humble, kind, and attentive people at once. We had excellent experiences with bartenders, restaurant staff, room stewards, the cruise director himself, and more.
I have been on one other cruise in my life and I have to say the energy on board the Jewel was pretty incredible. So much positivity was felt from staff and guests alike. We felt truly valued and cared for and the amenities and activities on the ship made our days at sea full and enjoyable.
The ports are beautiful and charming. Most were not too commercial feeling and actually gave you a sense of what the area was like. The excursions we chose made the experience so much more enjoyable as every staff member involved was enchantingly sweet. The Yelapa and Majahuitas excursion was our favorite. You're taken to an authentic little fishing village after snorkeling and kayaking through beautiful waters next to rocks. They feed you a fresh lunch and unlimited beverages on board. The staff puts on an incredible music performance, and the whole experience left us grinning and laughing. The next excursion we did was the Zip lining in Mazatlan and that had incredibly beautifu views and again, had a wonderful accommodating and helpful staff, and ends with a tour of an agave farm and tequila distillery that is visually stunning and so much fun. The last excursion we did was the Mexican Outback and Camel Ride, which was located on a beautiful beach in Cabo and was a more relaxing and interesting trip. We enjoyed the ride and the delicious authentic Mexican buffet afterwards, (tequila tasting included of course.) We watched whales breach as we ate our food overlooking the pristine waters.
