Trip was chosen mostly due to travelling to five islands in the carribean not visited before. First cruise with Royal Carribean which also was a reason as gave chance to compare with other lines. Ports of call were all quite different which is hard to do on these generally similar islands. Ranged from totally natural to slightly over the top shopping destinations. Total of four at sea days may be a bit much for some but it depends on personal preference. I would suggest if sun and heat are your wish a cruise starting further south such as Porto Rico may be more suited. Having said that the opportunity to tour Fort Lauderdale pre or post cruise should not be missed especially on the Water Taxiis Tour. This being what is now considered a "smaller" ship (2100 passengers) was a plus as services were readily available and usually not overcrowded. The My Time dining is an excellent option on this ship as walkup or conceirge seating was very quick and accommodating. The evening shows were crowded but seating was always available. Do not expect the big Broadway productions on this ship. Activities on this ship are varied and quite numerous for a ship of this size. The deckplans are among the least confusing of a few ships I have been on. Being a slightly older ship the staterooms seem to be a bit bigger and better laidout than some of the newer ships. With the planned freshening due in November 2017 I would recommend this ship be considered. Overall as checked above I would recommend this tour.
Slightly older than some lines but also somewhat bigger. Everything you need was there and kept very clean. Mid ship cabin would save a lot of walking.
Open air van on circle islan tour for $20. Picked up just off dock.
Just walked through town which was very accessible from ship if you liked walking.
Circle island tours available just off pier $20-$25 depending on riute. Marigot was under impressive and very costly. Maho Bay plane landings was worth a visit if you want to get upclose to landing planes.
