Some friends of ours booked us this cruise so we could be with them and go to the Mexican Riviera.

Well, when we first got onboard, we went to our cabin and found that our key cards wouldn't work on the lock. Also we found 3 service men working in our room, at that time. So we went to the desk and had new key cards made, then went back to our cabin, only to find the crewmembers still working in our room. We made our way back up to the lIdo floor, and then proceeded to the dining room. When we cam back to our room, our floors were soaking wet. We had to call the desk and get them to have someone come in and vacuum the wet floors. That's not all, for 4 days, we had no heat in the room. It took 3 service techs to come in and fix the heat, which what should have been done was replace the thermostat. Also in our room was a noisy blower so we really were not able to use our room as planned. I asked for some kind of compensation, because we endured 4 days of no heat and wet floors. All they could do for us was give us a bottle of wine. We were first time cruisers, and I was pissed. We also found out that the people behind the desk do not speak good english, and they are very inconsiderate. They do not listen and didn't seem to care. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got the same treatment. They do not pay attention to anyone who has any problems. We were put out and all they willing to do for us was give us a $60.00 credit towards our account. That too, was not acceptable. I told them that I was going to write a letter to the company. Wouldn't you think that what we had to endure for the 4 days of our 10 day cruise, should have been repaired by the time we boarded?

We will not use Princess Lines again. And as mentioned before, we were 1st time cruisers.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OV

Aside from the leaks in the cabin, wet and saturated floors, noisy blowers and no heat, the cabin was comfortable. Our steward kept the cabin clean and neat, with fresh washcloths, and ice in the refrig. Refrigerator didn't get as could as we thought it should be. And in the cabinet, it got pretty hot. Not enough ventilation.

Port Reviews

Puerto Vallarta

We met a relative of one of our friends, and when we left the ship, we all got into a taxi and went to the shopping center where Chili's Restaurant is. We ate at Chili's and enjoyed a margarita, the food was a little hotter than it is at home, but still delicious. Then we headed to Walmart. What for, can't remember. Then we were picked back up at Walmart by the same taxi where we were taken back to the ship. Beautiful, nice, and clean shopping center.

Cabo San Lucas

Enjoyed doing a little bit of shopping at the port. The margaritas were very good at Senor Frogs. Just wished they had the t shirt I was interested in, in the sizes I wanted. A bit disappointed.

San Francisco

The port of call was nice to find our ship waiting for us to embark. We arrived by limo and it was so nice not to have to find a parking space for our cars.
