A friend of ours who had been a leader on a previous tour recommended this tour. We had never really thought much about going to Antarctica, but the price was resonable, as such things go, so we signed up. We absolutely loved it. The ship was nice, the food was good, and the entertainment was excellent. We had speakers every day that we did not have a port call, and they were excellent as well. Two stand out. Mickey Live and Ranger John, they both added immensely to the experience. The shore excursions were all good that we took, although I will say that the National Park Tour was a bit of a dissapointment, but the tour of the Beagle Channel that was part of our particular tour more than made up for it.

The crew and staff all went out of their way to make our experience special, and they succeded. We were blessed with good weather throughout the trip. Antarctica was amazing, I just wish we could have gotten ashore, the Falkland Islands were an unexpected delight, we took the North Pond tour and it was excellent. The whole experience could not have been better. Our wait staff in the main dining room were Hamza and Eketerina, and they too made our dinning time special, just exceptionally nice people, that we enjoyed getting to know.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2A

Cabin 2A

Our cabin was on the starboard side, and while probably typical of a cabin of that class, was fine for us. It was in very good condition and our cabin steward kept it spotless.

We had no negative issues whatsoever.
