Cabin: Boardwalk View Stateroom with Balcony

This was our first time cruising on a mega ship from a US port, as we usually cruise Radiance or Voyager class from Sydney, Australia. We were therefore very excited to try this ship.

Check in was relatively fast, helped by the fact we had priority boarding. We went straight to the Windjammer for lunch to find it not too crowded. Food was good, but we're not fans of the buffet, so this was one of only two trips to the Windjammer on the entire cruise.

Our cabin was ready at 1.30 pm, 10729, a Boardwalk balcony cabin, the last at the aft, so with a great view of the Aqua Theatre and the ocean. The cabin was compact for three people, but we felt there was enough room and storage, although our two friends in another Boardwalk cabin constantly complained about the lack of storage. They must've taken a lot more stuff than us, because we had no issues. The cabin was extremely quiet, there was absolutely no noise from above, beside, other cabins slamming doors etc. The noise from the Aqua Theatre was also non-existent once the balcony door was closed.

Cabin Review

Boardwalk View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin B1

This has to be one of the best value balcony cabins on the ship. Right at the end with ocean, Boardwalk, and Aqua Theatre views, it was a great choice. We didn't find the walk to the aft too long, it kept up our daily steps and helped to keep the weight off.

Good storage and roomy shower, we loved this cabin.
