It was our first cruise and it lasted 3 weeks. We took this cruise mainly to see Antarctica and it was the highlight of our trip. The glaciers, the icebergs, the whales, the penguins, the seals, the dolphins, etc. The port of calls in South America were mainly small towns or cities and not that interesting. The excursions in the national parks were nice.
As for the cruise itself, in general it was very nice. The service was excellent, the food was good, the entertainment was very good also. We had 3 scientists who had worked in Antarctica and they gave lectures which were very interesting. Then we got 10 people working at the US research station that came on board for a Q & A session. The only bad point was when it was time to leave the ship to go to the ports of call, the procedure could be improve because it was very slow and unorganized.
Small but there was a lot of storage. Toto, our cabin attendant was wonderful and he did a great job. It was very clean and the service was great.
