I cruised on Celebrity X Reflection in January 2016 with my mother. We decided another cruise was in order and my three sisters, mom and I sailed on Celebrity Equinox in January 2017. Sometimes your second trip doesn't always live up to your first experience but that was not the case for us. Great food, service and overall experience. We dined in Silhouette the first night and, because of the extra special service provided by Roger, William and Pereira, we returned every night! Our 8th floor balcony staterooms were spacious and comfortable. Neves, our room steward, took amazing care of us, especially when our key cards didn't work or we needed more supplies. Embarkation and disembarkation was seamless - very impressed with the efficiency.
Our ports of call were lovely. I particularly enjoyed Barbados where we booked an excursion to snorkel with turtles over a couple of shipwrecks. The crew of the boat we were on were terrific - as was the rum punch! The entertainment wasn't as good as my previous cruise on Reflection but it gave us a chance to enjoy evening swims and the hot tub.
We may take a break from cruising for a while but when we decide to book again, it will definitely be with Celebrity:)
Quite spacious with lots of storage. Beds were comfortable. Neves, our cabin steward was very attentive and always had a smile on his face.
We had an overnight in St. Maarten which gave us lots of time. We took a taxi to Maho Beach so we could enjoy the water while watching the planes. What an experience!
We walked around St. Thomas. Two of our party took a taxi to a local beach with some sightseeing.
We chose not to participate in any excursions on St. Kitts but enjoyed spending time off the ship.
We did not take any excursions. The staff at Port Everglades were very efficient and helpful.
