We had always wanted to go on a brand new ship, so when these bookings first became available we jumped on the chance. We completed all the steps for online check in to make embarkation faster. When we arrived to the port we still had to wait in the same lines, retake our pictures (Twice) produce documents and method of payment. We were in a suite so we were able to board rather quickly after this but no quicker than other ships without this feature. Ill cover some good things first: Park Cafe-Roast Beef Sandwiches, fresh made salads, soups, etc. This place is fantastic. Main Dining Room-we had my time dining and was able to secure the same table a wait staff every night. Food was delicious as well. Entertainment-Grease was Fantastic as was our Headliner. Ship-She's beautiful very awe-inspiring Cantilevered whirlpools are outside the solarium and are much larger than other ships. Our 4 year old was able to enjoy this with us. Adventure Ocean- Amazing staff and content. My LO did not want to leave and was begging to go all the time. She brought home several items from the week. Sabor-Best food we had on the ship- although they no longer do tableside guacamole. Now lets get to the not so good things: Crowds- Being a new ship you travel every sailing at capacity. We also had a large amount of foreign folks on board with us. Not usually an issue until it came to common courtesy. If you wanted to get onto an elevator it was a fight, if you wanted to get off it was the same. We actually had people push us onto and off of elevators. When confronted they acted like no wrong was done on their part. We tried to avoid the windjammer as much as possible but sometimes it seemed it was the only convenient place available and trying to find somewhere to sit could take 20 or more minutes. Pool chairs are few and far between. I did not see anyone moving things off chairs. At the T shirt sale people were taking 10 shirts off the rack at a time, going through and getting what they wanted and throwing the left overs in a pile on the floor. At the last Bingo Jackpot one man won all 3 games and never once called a bingo. As soon as someone else claimed bingo he stood up. Was very unusual and almost seemed like it was set up. Showed up early for shows only to find no seats available - with reservations. We had staff telling us how much they disliked the ship-whether they did or not, you shouldn't be expressing this to guests. Our cabin had a large RED stain in the carpet. Juice/Blood/Marker I had no idea. The room steward could only say "Its been cleaned its fine" . Like i said we were traveling with a 4 year old and we had to ask for towel animals. She would put them on her bed and after a day or two he would take them away. We MISSED SAIL AWAY due to the muster drill. So disappointing. We were given WOW bands because of having a suite. You can use these to purchase items and sign into reservations etc. If you are in a pool you must still take it off to get a drink from the bar staff and you CAN NOT use it to get on/off the ship. Disembarkation was OK because we had MOBILE PASSPORT. If you do not utilize this or walk off with your luggage be prepared to take 2 hours to disembark. Our neighbors were constantly smoking on their balcony. We would call to report and nothing was ever done. Most of the time making our balcony unusable. The Junior suite bath tub is very small and only has a small flat portion before curving up the side. It also has a half door and no curtain. You get water EVERYWHERE. Plus the stopper is in the middle of the floor and you step on it constantly causing the water to collect. Bad design. We will stick to smaller ships from now on.

The was the SXM airport adventure and snorkel cruise. The boat ride there was nice but thats it. We were sold on the fact that this vessel had a hydraulic ramp that allowed you to enter the water safely. Upon reaching Maho bay we were informed that the ramp was broken and we would have to transfer to a floating platform and then into the water. The whole thing was unsafe, people were falling and getting caught between the rope anchor and the platform. Several guests were unable to partake in the activity because the waves made it impossible to stand on the platform. We were able to get a partial refund.
