I loved the ship. We have been on Millenium class ships before. There are a lot of similarities in ship design, but the Eclipse has a very light, open and airy feel. Room attendant was very attentive when we needed something, but it was plain that she had more work than time. There used to be an assistant room person.
The dining room food was very well prepared (one reason we like Celebrity). But only on the last formal night did we have lobster, beef wellington or lamb chops. It would have been nice to have one of them on different nights. Dining room waiter and assistant were practically running with the plates from a long way away. There are no waiter stations in the middle of the dining room where we were seated. Usually there is a station close by the table where the assistant puts all the plates to be served.
All in all though it was a wonderful cruise. Loved all the ports and went on some really nice shore excursions.
Cabin was adequate and kept clean. Had a picture window ocean view. Only negative was the small drawers in the room. The location was very convenient - a few cabins away from the center lobby where guest services are located. We enjoyed the complementary dance lessons.
DePalm island, Aruba. All inclusive incl snorkel gear, food and drinks
went all over the island on a bus. stopped at a very nice beach and at the National Park. The tour guide was great and gave a lot of interesting info about the island.
beautiful island. had been there before, so we took a taxi to the beach.
love St Lucia with the Piton mountains and jungle. very scenic island.
walked to the downtown shopping in Philipsburg (the Dutch side). Had an ice cream at McDonalds before going back to the ship. Lots of great shops but my husband and I are at an age where we don't need anything!
took a water taxi to the beach.
