We've done about 8 Celebrity cruises since 1997 and this was the first time I've done a holiday cruise and first time on the Reflection. This may sound snobby, but Celebrity tends to draw a more "sophisticated crowd" and because they claim "modern luxury", I look for refined service and food.

Lot's of "hits" a few "misses" and a few- needs improvements.

We've cruised on this line a while and remember the "good old days" of white glove service, cheesy flaming baked alaskas and towel animals.

Port Reviews

San Juan

San Juan - if you are going there as a port of call, spend more time there, and get there earlier. Can't see much when you dock at 3pm and the sun sets by 6pm . Ship was docked for like 6 hours. We walked around old san juan for an hour and went back to ship.

Miami

Miami - nice point of embarkation. Very easy to get to, parking is right at the check-in (20/day) and were plenty of spots for a Xmas cruise. Easy process to check-in (Captains Club Select)
