After reading less than complimentary reviews of this cruise I wanted to say our experience was different from two other reviewers. The ship was decorated for Christmas on our second day on board and we thought the decorations, trees, lights were tasteful and gave a real Christmas feeling to the ship.
We had Club Dining in the Alexandria Restaurant and thought the new menus were good. The sundaes now on the Dessert menu were lovely and ours were certainly not served in plastic glasses as another reviewer stated. We were on a table for 8 and met some lovely people. Stilton in port was on offer every evening and was certainly a hit on our table. The waiters were excellent, I think they are not as rushed in Club Dining as they are in Freedom Dining.
We went to two of the Headliners shows which were good and saw the two girl violinists, Elektra who were stunning. My husband played Shuffleboard when the weather was suitable and enjoyed that. We had a mini suite on Aurora which is extremely spacious and our cabin steward was delightful, nothing was too much trouble.
Aurora's mini suites are extremely spacious, much larger then suites on Azura, Ventura and Britannia.
Very busy, good Christmas Markets
Lovely city easy to explore
