Others have covered many of my thoughts about this cruise so I'll try not to repeat those items

A little backgrounder: We sailed on the NCL Pearl last fall (which is the "sister" ship to the Jewel) so we were very familiar with the ship layout and facilities.  Except for the lack of bowling and rock climbing, the two ships are accentually identical, so many of our impressions were based on a comparison of the two ships.
