We love the Coral Princess because its a smaller ship. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The ship is so clean it sparkles all the time. All disembarkments were very well organized and seemed to run very smooth. No confusion about where to go or when. We felt very well taken care of. And the comfort of knowing that if we book through princess we wont be left behind. We were 1 1/2 hours late getting back from the panama canal excursion and we had the comfort of knowing we had a ship to come back to. Our room was always clean and neat. Our steward Glad was very accommodating when we had some odd requests. I cant say enough about the friendliness of the staff.

And the food. Wow, wonderful culinary choices. Our waiter Angelo Manabat and his asst waitress Jo Ann R. Vizarra were the best. They where there whenever we needed something but not hovering. You could see they worked very well together, a perfect team. Angelo was very helpful with the menu each night. He could describe each dish well and could answer every question we had. He quickly learned our tastes and gave very good recommendations. Jo Ann was like a busy bee keeping our table clean, glasses full and making sure our every need was met. They made our dining experience very memorable. If you like music there is always some playing somewhere in the ship. Really enjoyed the shows.

Would I cruise with Princess again? Most definitely!!! In fact they are the only ones I will cruise with. I know the Coral Princess isn't a newer ship because we were on it when we went to Alaska in 2008. But you'd never know it. The ship looks as good as it did then. Everything worked well and ran smooth. Hands down this is the best cruise line.

Cabin Review

Cabin mini suit without balcony

Room was kept very clean and tidy. Our steward was named Glad. Very happy, friendly, and accommodating. Always asked how we slept or how our day went. If I could, next time I cruised, Id request him. Had a few odd extra requests and he was very helpful. He realized we like ice in our water so he always made sure our ice bucket was always full. He really made us feel at home.

Port Reviews

Aruba

Just did the port terminal. Very nice clean and the venders were wonderful. very friendly and we had a chance to purchase some items made from the natives there in aruba. were not into going to other countries and buying commercialy made items. So if you don't want to pay for an excursion this port terminal is very nice

Cartagena (Spain)

They have a wonderful bird sanctuary around the port terminal. Enjoyed it very much. But the venders inside not so much. Its almost all commercial diamonds and emeralds at a not very good price. Can get them cheaper in the states. A few other venders there they were good. Local goods.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

boarding at ft Lauderdale was easy and a breeze

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Not one to book independently but when you get off the tender at the docks you are flooded with taxi drivers. We were selective and felt very comfortable with the woman who offered to take us around the island.

Not one to do independent excursions but we did one here. When you get off the tender onto the docks you are flooded with taxi drivers offering rides. We listened to several and felt we trusted the one we took. $20 a person and she took us and 6 others on a tour of the town, Hell, Dolphin or Turtle show( We all chose the dolphin because its free) the Tortuga rum factory and then asked if we wanted to be dropped off at a local small crafters fair. Very knowledgeable of the island, answered all our questions. I had to make a bathroom stop and she right away stopped at a wendys. I don't like to go on excursions that aren't through princess that way the boat wont ever leave us but we had a lot of time in the island and she said the tour of $20 a person was only going to take 1 1/2 hour. Lots of time to spare. It was wonderful. Beautiful island. A must to get off the ship and take a look.
