Sorry this review is a bit of an Epic itself but as a novice I wanted to share our experience for other first timers!!

This was a great first time cruise so we had no real idea what to expect. What we didn't realise was the huge queues to get onto the ship! And I do mean HUGE! We waited around and hour in the heat to get registered and then another half and hour to get onto the ship! Far too long and quite stressful as we didn't know if this was normal or not and there was not one to ask.

The NCL Epic was well maintained and offered plenty to do and all staff were very helpful. We didn't feel that the onboard credit and the pre paid gratuities were explained very well onboard. Needless to say were spent a lot of time at guest services trying to work out what was going on. We did get there, eventually and then started to relax.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Our first impression of the stateroom was "oh my god it's so small"!!! Even with a balcony the room looked daunting. The toilet was right next to the bed and this became interesting to say the least!!! :) However once we had unpacked and found all of the great hidden cupboard space in the room we settled in and actually enjoyed the room. It was very well designed (apart from the toilet!!)

Bed was a little small for my partner who is 6' 3" but we managed. The TV had good channels and a dedicated movie channel (ch 19) which had some great movies.

All toiletries in the cabin were very nice and smelled great.

Our steward, ROMAN was lovely too and worked so hard.
