We have been going on a cruise for Thanksgiving for about 9 years now, always Carnival, mostly like the Spirit class ships, this was the second time on the Miracle. It was awesome, we had a great time, and will likely go again next year.

Smooth off and on the ship, our cabin was nice and our steward amazing (Deawa) We don't typically participate in much of the organized activities, so can't say much although Adam was nice, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the entertainment.

I am a bit disappointed in all the cuts I see happening in the services, cabins cleaned only once a day unless you ask. No midnight buffet (not that we are hungry but that was such a beautiful display- it;s been gone for years tho). The upgraded 2.0 ships typically have Guys burgers.. which was sorely missed, as well as the mexican food option for tacos and burritos on the lido. I was hoping for the mongolian beef station, but alas not there either. No chocolate day. Also.. I know I know some don't like it, but I wish they would allow smoking on the balconies.. at least on the "smoking" side of the ship. I love a cup of tea a smoke in the morning and read in my robe... (oh you have to ask for those too. I travel with a group that are almost all Platinums and Diamonds.. I felt the perks were not as obvious for our loyalty. I will for sure be cruising next thanksgiving.. heck there are 30 of us. I understand however next year will be the Spender.
