This was by far our worst cruise on NCL. There was a complete lack of communication before embarkation that the itinerary was being changed from three days Bermuda to nine hours in Port Canaveral and six hours in Nassau with no excursions. Basically, with no excursions in Nassau and the shops closing at 5:00, we basically had two hours in Nassau. All in all, it was a seven day cruise to nowhere with a ship full of drunks.
Never again ... on top of the lack of communication, NCL has the worst customer service of the three lines we previously sailed. I have politely and succinctly raised concerns twice with NCL (I even put them in writing) and still no response. Perhaps I should have been drunk and loud like the rest of the passengers at Guest Services.
I have grave concerns about cruising with a line that does not respond to passenger concerns. If this is what happens with itinerary changes, then I don't want to be aboard when something far more significant occurs.
It is forward so you feel the movement more. The cabin is two or three doors down from the crew door to their smoking area so you do get more crew traffic and some smoke smell in the passageway.
The passageway is somewhat narrow and there seemed to be two to three housekeeping carts at various points in the passageway from morning to early evening.
You will like the additional balcony area.
We had to stay overnight on the ship in Port. There wasn't much to see but the terminal.
