Even the manhole covers in Bergen are interesting.
One of the fjords in Norway, from the rear deck.
One of many waterfalls in Norway
Main atrium of Viking Sea showing Norwegian art work.

We wanted to see some of the fjords in Norway, but also the other ports in the Baltic - Denmark, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Russia, Finland, and Sweden.

The most challenging part of any such cruise is getting there and back. Viking made it very easy. They met us at the airport and had attendants in the baggage area who helped load the luggage on carts and take it out to waiting busses. We thought we might have to delay boarding, since we arrived in late morning--too early for our 3 pm embarkation time. This was not the case at all. Though we couldn't get into our cabin until 2 or 3, we were able to relax, have a meal, and discover this great ship.

Disembarkation was similarly stress-less. Great job.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

Since the ship was brand new, everything in the cabin was beautifully crafted, modern luxurious design, clean, spacious, with more than adequate room. Great bathroom. Very friendly and attentive staff. They even had free washer/dryers down the hall, even supplying the soap.
