We chose this cruise because we trust Viking after 3 river cruises to make us feel special! We chose the Baltic & the ocean cruise because Viking offered value & ports we wanted to preview for future longer stays.
Our ship, the Viking Sea, was 6 weeks new & our cabin was wondefully ready for us. The steward came as we we doing some unpacking for the first night. When she saw my husband's sleep machine, she went out directly to get him a large bottle of distilled water. The bathroom towels, toiletries were wonderful & replaced during the day so always fresh.
The ship was beautifully appointed, very welcoming & everything was easily accessible for our use. We especially liked the Explorer Lounge & the bow area inside and out to hear the speakers, listen to music, relax, have breakfast, lunch, latte or snack at our leisure without going to a dining room. The wait staff got to know us & even my preference for sparkling water at breakfast!
Cabin Review
Cabin was new, always clean due to our steward & assistant. Towels were refreshed & provided toiletries replenished as needed. Size was more than adequate but we spent little time there due to all the wonderful areas on the ship to use. We enjoyed the balcony to relax watch the stars or just relax.
