Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

We chose this cruise due to the timing and itinerary. We had previously been on RC and were interested to see what the current ships and activities were like.

Not impressed with the ship. Needs lots of work with cloudy windows, plumbing issues, stained toilets, damaged mirrors etc.

We liked the itinerary. Ports were good and the tenders well organized. There is not enough time allocated to the port call in Santorini. With the wait times for the cable car, people felt rushed to get back to the ship on time. Ship was late leaving due to people getting back to the transfer point late.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

This was our biggest Issue. The hallway on the way to our cabin smelled of sewage. In addition the toilet in the cabin had a large black stain in the bowl. This was NOT the fault of the steward - the stain was permanent and couldn't be cleaned. The bathroom mirror was also losing it's silver backing and was very unsightly. Our understanding was that the ship was refurbished last spring. It seems that if that happened, it was at best a patch job.

The bed was barely passable and the pillows were terrible.

If this is indicative of RC, then we will not be back.
