First time Seabourn cruiser on the 7-day Aegean itinerary. Originally included several stops in Turkey, with and end point of Istanbul, however all Turkish ports were cancelled due to the unrest in the area. Seabourn did a reasonably good job of replacing Turkey with some additional ports in Greece, however the trip started and ended in Athens. That aside, Seabourn is an amazing cruise line.

The food, staff and service were top-notch. The all-inclusive alcohol means that I'm not getting nickel and dimed for every drink I have, and the liquor is top-shelf for the most part. Food was outstanding, including many nights of Thomas Keller preparations. Restaurant 2 was a reservation-only, smaller, boutique restaurant on the ship offering an upscale culinary experience. My only complaint there was that they made a big deal of requiring a dress code in Restaurant 2 only to have folks show up in jeans and polo shirts. Not the end of the world, as in the end it made the passengers look bad. All in all, would definitely recommend Seabourn to anyone else and look forward to sailing with them again.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin V5

Cabin was on the 6th deck, almost mid-ship. It was spacious and about what I expected. There was some early morning noise from anchors being lowered when we were docking offshore at several ports, but it only lasted about 20 minutes.
