Scenic cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest aboard the Scenic Jewel. Would rate this with 6 stars if possible. The staff was amazing--always accommodating and wanting to make your experience outstanding. Our Cruise Director Kurt could not have been better handling all the small details (like doctor visits, etc), keeping everyone informed with his port talk (which were not only informative but done with humor). The selection of on board entertainment was terrific, the food outstanding.
Cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff was. At the end of the cruise they almost felt like family.
On many stops we would have a selection of options from city tours, Scenic Free Choice, walking around by ourselves. The Taylor Devices would enable us to explore and the GPS would guide us to local attractions.
Cabin Review
The French Balcony added much to the trip. It was a separate balcony (not a sliding window like many others). We could sit on our balcony and watch the scenery. Several nights we had room service and just enjoyed the experience.
