wanting a quick short getaway cruise, we choose this ship because we live right outside Charleston. Embarking was well run, took us no time to get onboard ship. Suite category gets priority embark. Disembark was even better. We left deck 11 at 7;15 as promised and were home in Mt Pleasant by 8AM.. Ship is well run, kept very clean,.
The Mongolian Wok was better on this ship than we exprienced on the Fantasy and the Dream. Also the morning omelet station was excellent, no scorched eggs. Dining room service was great. We had your time dining and were able to have the same waiter each night.
We attended a few shows and enjoyed them very much. No problem getting seating . Excellent band playing in the bar area called Broken Taillights. Listened to them several nights. Cruise director Benjamin was entertaining and funny.. And I broke even in the casino...that is the same as winning.
As an older ship this junior suite was smaller than Jr suite on RCCL ships but a very nice room and much better value than NCL mini-suite. Balcony is narrow. Rooms located on deck 11 forward. very convenient to pool area, buffet, and public area. comfortable bed and lots of storage space. large shower in bathroom could have used a foot bar for shaving legs and a basket to hold personal items. Shampoo & shower gel were provided.
