My wife and I chose this cruise for our 20th Anniversary and we did not bring the kids so this review is more oriented toward adults. We arrived at the port via Disney bus after having spent one night prior at the Polynesian Village Resort. The bus ride was fine and we never had to handle our bags after leaving them outside our hotel room in the morning. Embarkation seemed a little hectic with many people all over the place but my wife and I breezed through with virtually no wait. We were on board twenty minutes after getting off the bus. We had done one previous Disney cruise on the Wonder and loved it so I had high expectations for the Fantasy and I was not disappointed.

Our room (10554) was nearly perfect. It was spacious and very clean and was very convenient to the midship stairs or elevators. The only complaint I can think of regarding the room was noise level from the pool deck above us. If chairs were moved or heavy carts moved above us then the noise made it way into our room but it was never much of a problem. Our stateroom host introduced himself on the first day and took great care of us throughout the week.

Dining on board was very good. All three of the main dining restaurants were very nice and the menu changed daily and there was always something delicious to find. Our server, Luan, was terrific and was even able to get some special things for us not on the menu. The buffet restaurant was very good by buffet standards but could get crowded during certain times of the morning. We also had breakfast a couple of times in the main dining rooms but I did not find the food there to be any better than the buffet and I actually believe it is the exact same food and that they simply go fetch it from the buffet for you but it was still good.
