We travelled from Dubai to Barcelona to be part of this cruise. We had 2 balcony rooms which were better than I had imagined. My mom read many cruise trips before packing for our cruise on the Epic and as she was a little paranoid, she packed towels, hangers and toilet rolls as recommended, all of this was useless since our room had all of this. We were 3 in a room and the make shift sofa-bed can accompany a child or a skinny person easily. The entertainment and staff on the cruise was very good, although the taste of the food could have been better. Another issue we faced was not having access to halal food. With the large amount of muslim travellers on this ship, and even after notifying our travel agent, there was no halal food. It would be nice if one of the dinning halls had a small corner just like they had for Indian food. I do recommend taking detergent and dental items with you as well as planning your shore excursions on your own since the ones the cruise offered were highly priced.
