Just got back from the Oasis of the Seas Western Caribbean Cruise. Tons to report ...
First this is the first time I have been on the Oasis class ship. I am an Emerald Crown & Anchor member and usually sail the Adventure Class of Radiance class depending on the cruise I am taking and the ports of calls.
The Oasis ship is big with lots of things to do and entertainment to see. The 6000+ cruisers on board make it very Disney-like with lines and crowds in certain areas. I did not experience this as 3 days before I left I was upgraded from a Jr Suite to a Grand Suite. I got first hand experience of the Royal Caribbean Sky Class.which started this year for Suite cruisers on the Oasis. WOW... I will never do an Oasis class ship without this! Here is the summary of perks that accompany any grand suite or above (Junior Suites get Sea Class which has some perks but not as good a Grand)
This cabin was mid ship close to elevators and stairs. It has a wonderful bathroom with tile floors and walls, 2 sinks and a bath tub. There was tons and tons of storage over 12 full drawers, 4 wall cabinets, tons of closet space with plenty of hangers, A mini bar with good size refrigerator and a large living area and bedroom area that can be separated with a full length curtain. The balcony was large with 2 lounges and a table that allowed for nice times to view ocean, islands and company.
