Chose this cruise mainly because of itinerary, price and timing. Had been in Med before & toured Rome, Athens, Sorento & Pompeii - but this time took professional tour of Rome so saw more sites. Went to some countries we probably would not have otherwise chosen - so glad we did. Shore excursions way too expensive.

Service we received in our room and at dinner in Windows was superb - food was average - people we met from our Roll Call were delightful. Ship is a bit 'tired' in spots - but we like the size - some of the entertainment was great, some was average - but enjoyable. Although folks don't typically spend a lot of time in their rooms on a cruise, it would be nice to have more variety from the TV satellite service for those extended times (like afternoon after a tour, etc.) in the room. Size of ship was just right for our purposes.

This was a great trip for us.

balconies very small compared to other ships we've sailed. bathroom generally clean but tile grout needs bleaching. toilet awful - 'water-saving' toilets are only good for the environment and economy if they flush the first time - we often had to flush 3x to get paper down. But room was very comfortable and met our needs.
