Sail Date: Jul 2016
Cabin: Premium Balcony
Traveled with children

We chose this cruise as we were 3 families with varying ages of kids. We also chose it because our cruise agent told us it was brand new and unlike the other ships we had been on previously.

The ship is brand new and spotless. It has everything you could wish for entertainment-wise: Imax theatre in 3D; thrill 4d theatre; Huge waterpark with waterworks; 3 swimming pools; sky ride; mini golf etc etc.

Cabins: The cabins are like all other cabins. Except we were on the 9th floor which was under the Lido deck and there was a lot of noise all day and all night. You could clearly hear when people were walking above you, closing doors etc etc and we had to complain about the noise a few times.

Premium Balcony

Cabin 9B

The cabins are like all other cabins. Except we were on the 9th floor which was under the Lido deck and there was a lot of noise all day and all night. You could clearly hear when people were walking above you, closing doors etc etc and we had to complain about the noise a few times. The balcony was a glass balcony.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

So beautiful - great history and touring. We stayed there 2 nights prior to embarkation

Marseille

We took a taxi to Aix en Provence which was beautiful. Only problem: it was a sunday and everything was closed. We should have stayed in Marseille as there seemed like a lot to see and do

Florence (Livorno)

Absolutely beautiful. We took a private taxi to Florence and went via Pisa on the way back.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We have been to Rome many times so we did not leave Civitavecchia. This little port is very quaint and has some great shops and restaurants. Very nice if you don't feel like going into Rome with the heat

Naples

We took the ferry to Capri. We have been here many times and it's really stunning. One big tip: book your return ferry tickets as you land in Capri or Positano as the ferries fill up fast and tickets get sold out so you may have a problem getting back to the ship.

Crete (Heraklion)

We went to the beach by taxi - about 25 minute drive and well worth it. The water is crystal clear and the beaches are well priced.

Rhodes

Old city is magnificent and the beaches in Faliraki are beautiful

Athens (Piraeus)

Having been to Athens many times we decided to spend the 2 days at the beach. Astir beach is the best and Glyfada beach is ok - closer to Piraeus. Shopping in Piraeus is as good as Athens.
