This ship should be renamed ripoff. The Epic took every available opportunity to extract as much money as possible out of every situation . After paying £2,400 for this cruise for 2 people I had to pay £25 per day for our cabin to have bed made and towels changed totalling £175 per week, this is compulsory. £14.50 for small glass of wine 18 percent is service charge plus tax, as was a packet of starburst sweets 4 dollars!! The trips were 300 dollars each per trip, we did it ourselves for 50 euro. 11 of the restaurants were in your fare but the rest had to be paid for. Entertainment for young children or 13-18 year olds my grandson is 11 so only arcades ,bowling, air hockey, ball games but all had to be paid for!! People should be aware of These extra expenses before booking. The ship is huge but big is apparently is not always best. The staff were pleasant.
Went on our own so easy to find your way around. Went to Pompeii as grandson wanted to see volcano due to a project he was doing in school.
This was my grandsons favourite as he spotted 3 Lamborghinis ( he loves cars) it was a vibrant place and plenty shopping ,could have stayed longer here
Enjoyed this port ,we took local site seeing train and went to the Sacre Cour at the top of the mountain is was lovely and fabulous view. The train was brilliant value , really enjoyed this trip.
Stayed in Lovorno as have been several times to Florence. This was my first trip since being widowed so wanted to take my grandson somewhere I was familiar with.
