This was an unbelievable cruise experience! Everything exceeded our expectation. We are still delighted when we talk to friends about our viking cruise and the terrific accomidations, staff, food, cleanliness..... We just recently booked another 2 week cruise with Viking and have invited our friends o join us. They were impressed with our experience so much, they want to give it a try. Viking seems to know what they are doing and does not leave anything to chance. The sevice is top notch and a smile always on everyones face at all times. As far as the food , wine and drinks are top notch. I am impressed with the culinary staffs food preparation as well as preparation. The menus change as you cruise from country to country, bringing culinary tastes from the region. Often the wine choices are based on from the country and port, hence the wine is from that region! We definately enjoyed the basic tours and tried our best to embrace the culuture we were visiting. The shopping at each stop was interesting and we felt as though we found some great values and brought back lots of Christmas gifts for our family. The weather could not have been more perfect as we had 70-75 degrees each day on our cruise. we were a bit nervous we would experience sea sickness and came fully prepared with meds. but did not have to use any. The mediterranean sea is obviously not as large as the ocean, so very minimal movement. As you can tell by this review we had a wonderful cruise. The decor on the Star ship was very interesting and proffesionally decorated in everyar ea. /the assortment of original collected art work from a private collection was enjoyed by myself daily as well as the contemporary mid century modern furniture. You will enjoy this awesome cruise!
