We signed for this cruise because of the areas the cruise covered, especially Istanbul and after doing a Rhone River Cruise we were anxious to try the new ocean liner.....we were not disappointed. The crew was amazing and the food was outstanding. Being on a small ocean liner made the trip just that much better.

The real treat was entering Venice during the day. We sailed past many of the famous landmarks including San Marco Square. Because of rough seas we were not able to go to Pula. If we had gone to Pula, we would have entered Venice in the middle of the night, so this was an added value we had not counted on.

We enjoy cruising on Viking, whether it is on the river boats or ocean liners. We are already planning our next cruise which will be on the Viking from St Petersburg to Moscow. Cruising is our favorite way to travel, and with the outstanding tours that Viking includes in the cost of the trip, it is not a hard decision to choose Viking !!

Cabin Review

Being a smoker, my only complaint was that the smoking area was not covered. everything else was fantastic !!
