My husband and I took this cruise as a reward for a difficult winter full of medical problems. We flew to FL from Philly on the March 28th as I always like to make sure our luggage arrives at the same time we do!!. No problems with luggage or hotel. We stayed at a Hampton Inn that picked us up at the airport and took us to the port.

Sunday we arrived at the port around 1pm and zipped through the embarkation with no delay. This was our 2nd cruise on the Zuiderdam and it was great to see the renovations. The ship was beautiful and we didn't notice anything that needed repair or refurbishing. Our room was an ocean view on the mail deck, mid-ship, and it was fine. The price was right. We prefer a balcony, but since the price was good we stayed with the ocean view.

We dined in various restaurants and loved the Pinnacle Grill. Make reservations as soon as you board in order to get a good date, time and location. I requested a window seat and that's where we sat.

Cabin Review

Cabin was fine with plenty of storage. We had an oceanview room on the main deck, mid-ship. The bed was wonderful with very soft sheets and fabulous pillows. It was quiet.
