I must start off by saying that I am a pretty avid cruiser as well as an enthusiast of this form of travel, this was my 15th, so any thoughts that I am being negative because I "have no experience" are quite invalid. The process of embarking on the ship is fairly easy, we had no problems dropping off our luggage or checking in and felt as if there was a constant motion until getting on the ship. You get on on deck 7, the middle floor to the atrium which is amazing! There is a beautiful glass chandelier that is amazing! The layout of the ship overall is awesome! The restaurants are placed centrally (Taste and Savor) and The Manhattan is easy to get to as well. The casino has its own floor which is always fun to walk through as people are losing money. The teen club has a perfect isolated area to itself as well as the kids club so you are not being shoved into a large blob of teenagers swearing and dropping ice cream on you ( I have experience with this).

The cabin hallway layout is pretty cool and is only on mostly one side of the hallway if you have a balcony. I got an interior cabin mostly because I don't usually spend time in there and its cheapest. But this time, I really did get what I paid for. If i laid on the bed in the center of the room and did a spread eagle I'm almost certain I could touch all four walls with my limbs. There is next to NO storage! Only small little cubbies on the wall placed in the weirdest of spaces. Oddly(although I'm not complaining), the bathroom is very spacious and has tons of storage! But I must add that the beds are a 10/10! I fell asleep the minute i laid down. Well done NCL.

The dining and the entertainment kind of go hand in hand. "What do you mean? Thats impossible?" Well I will tell you. There is almost NOTHING to do but spend money(or lose it) and eat. The daily planner gives you about 1 trivia a day, bingo (WARNING: It costs a minimum of 39.99 per person) and an occasional game show at night which has absolutely NO seating!!!!! So what do you do all day? EAT. The buffet, The Garden Cafe, is fantastic! I don't think that I had a bad dish, there was EVERYTHING! But the dinner??? Not so good. I have this theory that Norwegian puts the most random of ingredients together so that you are miraculously not hungry and they don't have to feed you anymore. You win NCL. 4 of the nights I was a victim on this foul "gourmet" game plan. They did have a super cool ropes course that would have been a 10/10 if people knew how to control their children! Don't bring your kid on if they are going to flip halfway and force everyone to stand in a cattle call bunch as we watch them whale until someone gets them off. I must include that the broadway style The Brat Pack was FANTASTIC! I wish I could have enjoyed this 7 nights in a row. It had amazing vocals and the story was spot on to the John Hughes movies. Oh What A Night was a fairly good dinner show, but after seeing the real Jersey Boys and Frankie Vallie alive in the flesh , it was a little under par. Entertainment gets a 7/10.

The baggage men are fairly rude and greedy but check in staff is pleasant.
