We chose this cruise as our 10 year anniversary cruise. It was one of the smoothest seas that i have seen in my past 9 cruises. The staff on the Island Princess was great and friendly. We enjoyed eating at Alfred's (Inside Sabatini's at lunch time) and the traditional dinning was excellent. For these sailings they only had 5:15PM and 7:45PM traditional dinning. This made it tight for making to the Elite lounge or some shore excursions ran close to early seating. The production shows were excellent and well performed. I did feel the Island Princess showed some age in spots but for the most part has been well kept up on. A couple features that were missing from some of the bigger ships is the aft pool (removed during last dry dock), International Cafe, and Vines.

Below is my short description of the Princess shore excursions we did:

Cabo San Lucas- Swim with Dolphins - This was a really nice setup with Cabo Dolphins that you walk to the center from the ship and spend some time with the dolphins for 45 min or so. We got luck i guess as our dolphin was not being a good "listener" so they moved our group back to a smaller tank and we got to swim with a mom and younger dolphin in training. I heard a couple people say this was better than other places that they had swam with dolphins.

Cabin was in good shape. Location was nice being close to the front viewing area.
