This was our first cruise experience. We booked the cruise directly with Viking before the Viking Star was launched. Our choice to book the Viking Star was based upon Viking's reputation and three other couples booked the same cruise at the same time and our cabins were all near each other.
It was great fun watching the progress of the Viking Star and the regular updates from Viking made the whole pre-trip experience great fun. The video's of the ship kept us excited.
We flew into Barcelona three day's early and really enjoyed the city.

We were very pleased with the cabin. Bathroom was great. Bed was great. Couldn't have been happier.
