Sail Date: Mar 2016
Cabin: Junior Suite

The room junior suite was large and spacious. (room 9618). Our bathroom had a weird black stain in the toilet and a musty smell. Room steward was nice but said he could only use bleach to get rid of it and they weren't allowed to use bleach. The room was not cleaned very well the whole trip.

The buffet in the Windjammer is big and loaded with lot of different food but almost none of the food was ever hot. Cold hamburgers, cold chicken (that should have been hot), toast and eggs were cold, but worse was the tables were constantly dirty, and DONT pick up the salt or pepper shakers without gloves on. The staff was unable to keep up.

A special BBQ buffet meal in the swimming pool area had the same challenge. There were dishes and food left everywhere. Pick up was slow. The ship needs to consider either more staff or a way to manage the cleanliness of the areas. By the 5 day, I started getting squimish as so much food, tables, swimming areas, public bathrooms, stateroom were not very clean.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Cabin was large with a walk in closet. Bed was excellent and very comfortable. Cabin steward was soso and bath room needed cleaning and updated. The toilet definitely needed replaced. Our shower curtain was incorrect in length and moldy. It finally got replaced 5 days in on the trip.
