Sail Date: Nov 2015

Everything was taken care of for us from before we arrived at the ship. We arrived and was greeted by a familiar face - a crew member that we had sailed with in the past. The service throughout the cruise is highly personalized due to the intimacy and the smallness of the boat.

The cruise began in New Orleans and returned 7 days later back in New Orleans. The historians onboard, Bill and Laura were also the entertainment for a couple of nights as they sang river songs. Entertainment each evening was a local resident to add to the enrichment. The historians added quite a bit to the experience onboard telling us about the area and wildlife.

The shore tours were good. They ship director would take us to different plantations and museums - all very nicely organized and well planned. The tour guides were knowlegable and pleasant.
