We have cruised on a variety of lines including Viking River cruises. The Viking Star ocean cruise was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary and all of the amenities provided aboard ship. We never felt as if we were being nickel dimed as happens on other oceans cruises.
The entire staff aboard the ship were great. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We also greatly enjoyed the included excursions with optional trips available. We took two of the optional excursions and the remainder of our excursions were included. The offerings were great and allowed us to see something in every port. We highly recommend Viking and their interesting and unique ports and exciting excursions.
The speakers that are brought aboard the ship are great. Interesting, knowledgeable and very approachable.

The tour was enjoyable. We like to explore on our own and were able to do so. Very interesting and guide was good.
Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)
We truly enjoyed Palma but unfortunately we were there on a Sunday and the majority of the stores were closed. We were fortunate to have been able to see the church but by 11:45 am the church doors were closed. Did get nice Mallorca pearls - found one open store but it did not stay open very long. We did go to the Arab Baths while we ere there and that was very interesting. A little hard to find but we were determined.
