We have done river cruising with Viking for many years so we're eager to see how they did Ocean cruising. Overall we were very happy! Since we were on the earlier cruises there were still teething problems but I feel sure these will have been sorted by now. The tour booking was a bit chaotic and often required too long a wait for an agent to assist but otherwise it was great . The food was fantastic and the World Buffet was so good that we often didn't bother with the restaurant even in the evening. The staff were wonderful and the ambience calm and spacious.

The wifi was surprisingly good...even at sea....and our 8th floor stateroom was so comfy..plenty of storage, great bathroom, comfy bed. Only niggle was silliness of having a tv in bedroom and one right next door in sitting area, divided only by curtain which meant that though we had two Ty's, we could only watch one thus negating him being able to watch sport and me, a movie.

Nonetheless We enjoyed Viking so much that we have now booked for the West Indies.
