EMBARKMENT/DISEMBARKMENT: We embarked around 1:30 and there were only a few people in line making it the fastest time we ever got on a ship. The muster drill had it challenges. I love the fact that you can sit in various lounge areas verses standing outside like we do on Holland America. However people still come very late and hold everyone up. It makes the muster last twice as long due to their inconsideration and thoughtlessness of other. We had a late disembark time but we were again lucky and got through customs very quickly (in fact the quickest ever).

CABIN: We stayed in cabin R633 on Riviera Deck. This room is very close to the back elevators and not far from the laundry/ironing room. It is also close to a small pool/outdoor bar. The buffet area is one floor up so it makes it convenient to grab a quick bite if you want. You could hear a little noise from time to time above you but it really wasn’t that bad.

The balcony room was small with only two chairs cramped next to each other. Shower was very tiny but doable. We normally stay in suites but I didn’t like the how all the suite balconies jutted outward so that anyone above you could look directly down upon you. Too much of a fishbowl feeling, but not a problem if you rarely sit on your balcony or don’t mind being out in the open. The balcony in this cabin was small but had a private overhead.
