Port of New Orleans embarkation was a disaster. Stood in line for 2 hours then got into a room with seats for another hour then another line for registration....3 hours total. Not explained anything as to the reasoning for delay...total chaos with disgruntled passengers disembarking ship going thru congested area where we were in huge line up to get on ship.
Room was so outdated. Our door would not lock all the time. Sounded like it locked and turn knob inside the door was too loose to lock from inside. We had another passenger walk right into our room early one morning. Called for assistance from Security, but no one ever came - went down to desk 3 hours later to log complaint and then someone came later. But the door was never fixed. Even after steward left the room in evening after turn down, we would come back to unlocked room.
Food was ok, same menu as other NCL cruises. Need to spice things up a bit. Very bland.
Room very outdated. Our door didn't always lock. We had another guest come right into our room one morning, and I called for Security, but no one showed up until after I went down to Guest Services 3 hours later. Kept complaining that our door wouldn't lock all of the time. Even after steward cleaned room, I came back to an empty room by myself and door was unlocked. Very scared to say the least. Up until the last morning, door still unlocked when we left the room. Terrible!
