Sail Date: Nov 2015
Cabin: Large Ocean View Stateroom

One of the worst cruise experiences ever, we sailed from Perth on the 17 November. Bath room smelt like a sewer, no hot water, we were promised another cabin which did not eventuate as we were constantly fobbed off and lied to. Food average or below in the Windjammer, cruise director was formularised and boring as was most of the entertainment, geared to the number of 'Seniors" on board who displayed remarkable dexterity in using their zimmer frames to jump queues in The Windjammer.

BEWARE: Cruise excursion prices were outrageous, for example, I organised a car and a driver for 8 hours in Bali for 6 people for $US100.00 (US$16.70 per person) Royal Carribean charged $US145.00 per person. An experience to be shared with up to 40 other people. In Cairns Royal Carribean charged $US 145.00 for a tour, the same tour could be purchased for $US30.00 in Cairns. If you were lucky enough to get off the ship in time to go to Cairns.

it took us 4 hours to disembark at Yorky's Knob (Cairns), from 9am to 1pm. We didn't make it to Cairns as there was a queue of 300 people waiting there for the shuttle bus and we had to be back on board by 4pm. We did however, make it into Port Headland WOW, an experience to savour in 45C Heat, and RC even provided a free Shuttle Bus.
