I just returned from the 11/29 sailing out of Miami and had a great time. We were a group of six (family & friends). I know there have been a number of negative reviews and in my opinion never experienced any of them. The day of embarkation was very quick - we boarded the ship at about 11:15 am and was onboard by 11:30am. As the cabins were not ready until 1:30, we headed upstairs to the lido buffet on the 9th deck and had lunch. Plenty of choices and the food was very good. The food area was immaculate from day one - the staff was always cleaning the tables and food/dishes were never left on the tables. Always found a table with no trouble.

Throughout the cruise, the staff was great- always smiling, saying good morning/afternoon, etc. the staff everyday was cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Our cabin steward (Mayan) was awesome. From day one - he knew our names and never forgot. Whatever you needed we always had. Our cabin was on the 7th deck (7360). Great location. There is some confusion to navigate around the ship (especially going to the dining rooms) - I always found going to deck 5 gets you to the other side (3rd floor dining rooms). You will have to go through the casino - yes it is smokey but not terrible if you are only walking through). The only negativity about the casino is that due to the lighting (pink) it is very hot and the slots due not pay at all. Be prepared to lose your money very quickly.

I found the adults pool on the the 9th deck (back of ship) better than on the lido deck. Always found a lounge chair (even as late as 11:00am). Also, I do not smoke, my best friend is a smoker and I went up to the 10th deck a few times (one of the permitted smoking areas on the ship) and if you are sociable and friendly, you will meet the nicest people and enjoy your stay on the 10th deck even if you don't smoke. The area was very open and I never felt uncomfortable being in hat smoking section. Great times/laughs. Read more
