Sail Date: Nov 2015
Cabin: Inside

Cruised on the Spirit from Venice to Athens, Ephesus, Istanbul, Mykonos, Naples, Rome, Pisa, Tulan, and then Barcelona. It then continued to Madiera, 6 days at sea, St. John, St. Kitts, St. Marteen, St. Thomas, and finally Port Canaveral.

We were most disappointed in the ship--very old and not in good shape. Lunch buffets were more often than not luke warm at best.

Long cruise with no self-service laundry facilities.

We didn't have hot water for 2.5 days. At first we thought it was a one time thing. The third day my husband's shower turned cold.

We also had black dirt on our bed and had to call to get the air vent cleaned. That took 2 hours after multiple times being told a repair person was on the way.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Went to beach to watch the planes take off

St. Thomas

While a nice beach, certainly not one of the best beaches in the world. The water was nice; howver the picnic tables were so grungy I didn't want to sit, eat, or evn place my beach bag on them.
