We have cruised many times on other cruise lines and have done several river cruises with Viking. We loved this cruise. The ship is beautiful and the crew very efficient and friendly. The food was very good in all restaurants. We especially liked The Chef's Table. The menu is fixed, but changed every 3 nights during our cruise and we enjoyed it each time with the wine pairings. The service was excellent in the restaurants and lounges. Very friendly and got to know the bar staff. Felt like family after a few days.

The entertainment was beyond our expectations. The Viking singers and dancers were beyond expectations and the lounge music and entertainment was very classy. The guest entertainer, Paul Fredericks, was terrific. Our cabin steward was first rate and very efficient. Our cabin, Penthouse Junior Suite, was very comfortable and spacious with plenty of storage and separate seating area. The bathroom was great with double sinks and large walk-in shower. The heated mirror refused to "steam-up". Nice touch.

Our post cruise was two nights in Venice at the Molino Stucky Hilton. Beautiful hotel. Viking's shuttle to St. Marks square all day long was great. Our shore excursions throughout the cruise were very good with good guides. Knowledgeable with no problems understanding them.
